Dr. Ranjana Thakur is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist and Phaco Cataract Surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based eye care. She completed her MBBS and MD in Ophthalmology from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, and further enhanced her surgical expertise through a Fellowship in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery at Drishti Eye Care System, Birgunj.
She is currently serving as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Sunaina Eye Hospital, Janakpurdham, and is also affiliated with Provincial Hospital, Janakpur, where she provides specialized ophthalmic services.
Dr. Thakur offers comprehensive Outpatient Department (OPD) consultations, including routine and specialized eye examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, cataract evaluation, glaucoma screening, diabetic eye examinations, pediatric eye care, refractive error management, dry eye treatment, and medical retina services.
